It's almost the weekend and there's a lot of cool things happening right here in the Hudson Valley. Here's a few highlights...

It's Children's Book week so bring your kids to the Kingston Library for a special presentation of "The Wizard of Oz" by the Hampstead Stage Company, Saturday, May 17, at 10:30 a.m. This is part of the Super Saturdays Performance Series for school-age children. Don't miss Dorothy’s colorful adventure with lots of audience participation. This company is based in New Hampshire and they travel around the country making books come alive for children.

Enjoy the International Butter Workshop this Saturday from 11-1 at the Wagon House Education Center at Olana State Historic Site. The workshop will be presented by Elaine Khosrova, founding editor of "Culture Magazine", she will talk about butters from around the world and will focus on how to make cultured butter, use beautiful molds to create artistically designed butter, make flavored butters, and more!
