Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is a happy place for many people. If you believe in the saying of "good vibes" then you probably are drawn to this very location.

Being the site of Woodstock 1969, there is always something new to learn in their museum, explore on the Bindy Bazaar trail, and upcoming concerts that emphasize these peaceful grounds.

More than ever, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts has provided the community with new and exciting events. They have added even more concerts, yoga classes, earlier this year, The Big Sip and more recently, Peace, Love & Lights.

I had the opportunity to explore one of my favorite exhibits at Bethel Woods last week, Lights, Color, Fashion: Psychedelic Posters and Patterns of 1960s San Francisco.

This is a great addition to their magnificent museum. However, this exhibit is temporary until they create a new one for the community. This exhibit showed the clothing that was worn in San Francisco during the 1960s.

It also included rock posters and an enchanting black light room. The black light room included more posters that glowed under the black light. The posters ranged from Jimi Hendrix to the Beatles, African American, Native American and Mexican American heroes during that time period. It was also interesting to see the fashion from the West Coast during that era.

Lastly, there was a light show with a backdrop that was frequently shown at rock concerts during that time period. For me, it was a great opportunity to learn more of what life was like then and to see what was important.

After a visit through Lights, Color, Fashion, I drove through their Peace, Love & Lights holiday display light show. It was another exciting yet peaceful day at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
