There's a lot of  conversation about our favorite and least favorite moments from this years Super Bowl.

We have to admit this is a pretty cool moment for Hudson Valley sports fans.

Super Bowl 59 is in The Books

Super Bowl LIX was a highly anticipated event. The Kansas City Chiefs were ready to make history winning their 3 Super Bowl in a row.

While The Philadelphia Eagles were heading to New Orleans with a bit of a chip on their shoulder and hoping to get revenge after losing to the Chiefs in 2023.

Fans didn't know what to expect, but I'm sure they didn't expect Jalen Hurts and the Eagles to absolutely dominate Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs all 4 quarters.

Spoiler alert, The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl Champs beating Kansas City 40-22.

2 West Point Grads Play in Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans

In New York, many of us weren't really thrilled with either team and had no on to cheer for.

However, it looks like we did. 2 local grads played in the big game.

According to USA Today, Linebacker Cole Christiansen (USMA class of 2020) has been playing to Kansas City since 2022 and Brett Toth (USMA Class of 2017) has played for the Eagles since 2019.

The two went head to head this year at Super Bowl 59 and Army Head Coach Jeff Monken told USA Today:

"I am just incredibly proud of both of those guys. It’s hard to play in that league – those are the best players on the face of the planet – and they’re able to compete with those guys, play with those guys.

Adding "I’m just really proud of them and just the development that they’ve made."

Hudson Valley Celebrity Spotted at Super Bowl 59

We're you watching the Super Bowl just for the celebrity sightings? Sure it was cool to see Taylor Swift and President Trump, but did you see one of our Hudson Valley neighbors in the crowd?

If you didn't know Paul Rudd, is a huge Kansas City sports fan and of course a diehard Chiefs fan.

The camera panned to our Rhinebeck neighbor a few times throughout the game. At one point, as the Chiefs were getting smoked by Philly we saw Paul hang his head in defeat.

You can see Paul Rudd here hanging out with Adam Sandler before the game became a full blow out.

Take a look at all the celebs you may have missed below:
