The hits just keep coming for the Hunter Mountain area.

Earlier this week, Hunter Mountain closed their ski slopes after "a number of ski patrollers excluded out of work relating to COVID-19" concerns. Thankfully, all is well and the popular ski resort is back and open to the public as of January 8th.

However, another popular spot on the way to Hunter Mountain is dealing with a much similar situation.

Twin Peaks Coffee and Donuts on Main Street in Tannersville shared on their Facebook page on Friday morning, January 8th the following statement:

Good morning friends!
We’re sorry to say that, due to COVID, we do not have the staff available and will not be able to open this weekend (1/9 and 1/10). Will post an update for next weekend as soon as we are able.
They reminded customers that you can still order Twin Peaks in house coffee online through their website.
Twin Peaks Coffee and Donuts is a popular donut and breakfast destination year round as they create mouthwatering specialty donut creations. From personal experience, their Samoa and Carmel Apple flavors are out of this world. And their pumpkin spice latte changed my life.
In August of 2020, Twin Peaks announced that they would be closing their doors in November due to the pandemic. Thankfully, new owners step in and kept the doors of the beloved business open.
Once the team at Twin Peaks gets back to business, you can visit them Saturday's and Sunday's from 8 am until 12 pm at 5950 Main Street in Tannersville.
