I am so excited to bring the kids this weekend.

The folks over at Barton Orchards have done it again as they continue to bring new family fun to the Hudson Valley.

My kids are always asking me to do different things on the weekends that I have them and when I saw this adventure, I thought I need to check this out. Now if your like me and not a huge fan of heights this might be the thing you need to try to get over it, as my kids say.

It's called Tree Top Adventures, the only zip-line Adventure Park in Dutchess County and it offers 5 full sized climbing courses that have been carefully designed to challenge people of different ages and skill levels, including the first time climber, like me.

So this weekend, I'm taking one for the team and we are going to try it out. If you have younger kids they are also offering what they call the Kid Koala Course for children ages 4-7.

Tree Top Adventures is located at Barton Orchards at 63 Apple Tree Lane, Poughquag and they are open on Saturdays and Sundays until the end of May from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Tickets cost $49.95/person, $9.95/child (Kid Koala Course ages 4-7) and can be purchased at the Farmer's Market at Barton Orchards.
