They can get stung by bees just like humans and sometimes worse because they choose to eat the bees. Unfortunately, some of the most common garden plants can be toxic to your pet. The ASPCA has put together a very thorough list that not only includes dogs and cats but extends to other animals like horses. Knowing what is in your yard and garden is the first step then checking these lists is the next step.
