The crew at the Quickway Twin Cone ice cream shop got me to stop in my tracks on Facebook today when they shared a picture of one of their loyal canine customers. Cy is an adorable dog who apparently is a regular.

In recent years, more and more Hudson Valley food places are offering food options for pets. Pet menus are quite popular at local breweries and wineries. Hudson Valley Magazine published a list last July of dog-friendly restaurants that included places like the Armadillo Bar & Grill in Kingston and Fetch in Warwick, which was designed with dogs in mind.

Even national chains have gotten into the trend. Pup cups are a regular item at so many places that thekrazycoupnlady.com published a list of chain restaurants last summer that have canine offerings.
