If you have seen Toby Keith live you know that he always does something great to involve the armed forces.

At the 3rd annual Taste of Country Music festival he turned Hunter Mountain into the most patriotic places in the world. Flags were everywhere.

With Veteran's day passing yesterday, I was looking around online and came across this video of Toby from a show last summer in North Carolina.

The concert was held in Charlotte back on August 2 and was packed, as usual. But there was one veteran in the crowd that stood out.

Toby brought 93-year old Harry Frizzell who is a retired Lt. Col. on stage, saying he wanted the crowd to "see what a true American hero looks like,”. He introduced Frizzell who served our country in the U.S. military for 35 years and fought in three different wars.

Toby then sang two of his most patriotic songs, "American Soldier" and "Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" in honor of Frizzell. After Toby finished the great performances of both songs, he passed the microphone to Frizzell who then told the pack house, “God bless America.” That's when it looked like it all got to Toby, if you watch he gets emotional and can be seen bending over, and when he stands back up, he uses his fingers to wipe away tears from his eyes.

Watch and enjoy!
