Social media can be a scary place. Especially in today's world. It's harder than ever to navigate through the negative political posts so, when you actually come across something that makes you feel good, you have to share it.

Yesterday, several of my friends shared an adorable video on my timeline and my heart melted. The video came from a group called "Tabitha's Project Smile." The video posted yesterday showed Tabitha delivering homemade cupcakes to the City of Poughkeepsie Fire Department. The look of pure excitement  on her face and jumps of joy after delivering the baked treats is absolutely priceless:

I reached out to Tabitha's mother about where the inspiration comes from and as it turns out it was a commercial for the SPCA. Tabitha walked by the tv and saw the sad dogs and cats and told her parents that they needed to do something. So that day they brought some toys and donations to the Dutchess County SPCA. And since then, Tabitha has been planning out where she wants to share her smiles and happiness next. Tabitha and her family have been all over the Hudson Valley including, he Roosevelt Fire Department, Troop K State Police, Sheriffs and City of Poughkeepsie Police Department bringing baked treats and smiles to all.

Tabitha's Project Smile Facebook page describes Tabitha as being only three years old, but having the  "passion to bring happiness, appreciation and smiles to everyone she encounters."
