There is Still Time To Win Tickets to See Garth Brooks on July 9th

All this week we are giving you a chance to win tickets to see Garth Brooks with special guest, his wife, Trisha Yearwood. They will be at Yankee Stadium on July 9th, one week from this Saturday.

CJ, Jess, Beth and I have been qualifying people all week. You will also have chances to qualify all weekend long. Then next Tuesday July 5th we will announce the winners. Yes, winners! We have two pair of tickets to this unbelievable show.

If you have never seen Garth Brooks in concert you haven't seen a concert. Garth wrote the book on audience participation. He actually has songs that have verses he only sings in concert and expects the audience to sing along so brush up on the album cuts.

Back in the day I was one of the lucky people who got to see Garth's live concert in Central Park. It was like no concert I had ever been to and nothing has been like it since. Garth took the stage that night and it was as if nothing else was happening in New York City during the show. All eyes were on Garth and his amazingly talented band. One of the special moments that night was when Billy Joel joined Garth on stage. We New Yorker's are real softies for Billy Joel.

What I didn't know was Garth repaid the favor in 2008 during a Billy Joel concert commemorating the closing of The New York Mets' Shea Stadium. Check them out on Garth tune "Shameless".
