The holiday season is quickly approaching and it all kicks off with Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26th.

While we all rush around the get our menus set for the big day and get all of our shopping done, it probably will cross our mind that there are people out there who aren't as fortunate as us.

Getting dinner on the table is a struggle for some including our veterans here in the Hudson Valley. That's why this fall here at The Wolf we teamed up with VET2VET and Poughkeepsie Nissan to get a nice Thanksgiving meal on the table of our veterans who have done so much for us.

On Thursday, November 19th (a week before Thanksgiving 2020) we'll be hanging out at Adams Fairacre Farms on Old Post Road in Wappingers Falls. We'll be there from 2pm until 7pm collecting non-perishable foods to help Dutchess County veterans this holiday season.

While the thought of giving frozen turkeys or fresh pies is kind, we unfortunately can't accept perishable foods. However, if you'd like to donate a gift card to make those purchases will be happily accepted.

VET2VET provides "support, peer to peer services to assist veterans and their families in need and opportunities or activities to stay connected with other veterans." If you're looking for more information regarding VET2VET and how you can help, visit them online at MHADutchess/VET2VET.Com or on their official Facebook page.

Thanks again to Hunter Insurance, Adams Fairacre Farms, Astar Heating and Air, Boutique Wine and Spirits, and Poughkeepsie Nissan home of the original lifetime powertrain warranty.
