The Thai Chili Ketchup Discovery

I love this Bookbinders Thai Chili ketchup so much I just had to share. Let me back up a moment and explain how I found it. Last week I was struggling to find something new and different to bathe meatballs in that I was planning to make for dinner. I was wandering down a few different isles at Stop n Shop and basically hoping something would jumped out.

At one point I was holding at least five different bottles of sauces and such. Everything from orange ginger whatever, too plain old fresh tomato basil something. Then there it was, the Bookbinders label and the words Thai Chili Ketchup. I had always been a fan of their horseradish so why not their ketchup. If you aren't familiar with Bookbinders they are an amazing restaurant in Philadelphia that you have to put on your "eat at" list the next time you visit Pennsylvania.

So fast forward, I put all the other jars back and the Thai Chili Meatballs turned out so unbelievably yummy. I love when I leave the recipe card and go rogue. Plus it led to the discovery of the Bookbinders Specialty Food site so I can now shop to my hearts content.
