One of my favorite things about summer as a kid was getting up early every weekend and going with my dad to yard sales and flea markets.

As an adult, the tradition continued until my dad was physically unable.

I still try to carry on that tradition as much as I can.

I'm really busy now that I have a 1 and a half year old but I still try to find some time to head out and see what kind of other peoples junk I can find.

One similar tradition is in it's 50th year in the Hudson Valley.

The Stormville Flea Market is happening before you know it.

The first one of 2020 is happening on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 from 8am to 4pm in Stormville, NY.

There will be more than 600 vendors, with antiques, collectibles, arts & crafts, new and used items.

Entrance is free as well as parking and will happen rain or shine.
