It's only a week away and if you're not excited for Thanksgiving yet, this should really get you going.

Eric Church is now going to be a part of Thanksgiving Day Football with my beloved Dallas Cowboys! This is a dream come true for me.

Church announced on his Facebook page that he is going to be performing at the halftime show during the 4:30 p.m. Dallas Cowboys versus the Washington Redskins game.

The performance will be the kick off for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign and will be live and on FOX.

According to 5 Points Blue, the Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys have been working together for 20 years and have raised nearly $2.2 billion, with last year’s campaign raising a record $149.6 million.

The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign starts on Thanksgiving Day until Christmas Eve, helps provide meals, shelter, Christmas toys and a bunch of other services for millions of people in need.

To make a donation this year you can drop some money at any of the red kettles across the Hudson Valley or you can text the word “KETTLES” to 51555, and make a donation in any amount you choose.
