Sullivan County Is the Place to Buy a Lottery Ticket

For the second time in two months, Sullivan county has had another big lottery winner. The first was Harold Diamond of Wurtsboro, announced on January 12, as the sole winner of a $326 million Mega Millions jackpot drawn on Nov. 4, 2014.

According to the New York Lottery, a Sullivan County woman has won a $126 million jackpot in the Feb. 27 Mega Millions drawing. We'll find out who she is tomorrow morning when she’s presented with an over-sized prize check at Monticello Casino and Raceway. The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at the South Fallsburg Food Mart.
