Stop Vaping Immediately Says Health Department
Sickness is the reported reason behind the warning.
According to Pix 11, the Milwaukee Health Department has issued a really hard line warning against vaping and this could be something that the New York State Department of Health looks into.
The Health Department announced on Tuesday that people should, "stop using any vape and/or e-cigarette devices immediately."
The Health Department said that the reason behind such a bold warning is because 16 people have been hospitalized with chemical pneumonia over the last few days and they believe that vaping could be behind the illness.
Each of the patients reported that they used vape products or marijuana oils, extracts or concentrates in the weeks and months prior to going to the hospital.
The Health Department also said in the press release that, “residents are again strongly encouraged to not utilize any THC products containing e-liquid.”
According to Pix 11 the symptoms of chemical pneumonia include coughing, shortness of breath, fatigue, fever, chest pain, nausea and diarrhea. If you feel you may have any of these symptoms, you are urged to contact a doctor.
