Stock Up Now on Discount Decorations

Earlier this week I went on a little tangent about decoration for Halloween too early.

I'm not taking back my statement, what-so-ever, but I am here to tell you that preparing to decorate early has its perks.

This week I decided I was going to be an adult and decorate my apartment for fall. Basically I bought a bunch of candles and pumpkin/apple-themed wall decor.

My top stops were at Michael's and Hobby Lobby. While perusing the aisles I noticed that there were some sweet deals going on. At Michael's the fall decorations were anywhere from 60%-40% off. Pillows, baskets, candles. You name it, it was on sale.

According to Michael's website, these deals are only lasting until September 23rd.

My trip to Hobby Lobby almost had me stocked up for Christmas. They have Christmas trees, bulbs and ornaments and pretty much any Christmas decoration you can think of on sale at 40% off.

So while it's too early to decorate for any of the big holidays coming up, it's not too early to save and stock up.
