Many of us consider the fall season our favorite time of year in the Hudson Valley! There are a few reasons why we love it so much including the leaves changing colors, the smell of wood-burning stoves, hot chocolate, and of course the holidays!

Stewart's Shop Wins Best Eggnog Award

We've shared many times how much we love just about everything at Stewart's Shop locations across the Hudson Valley, if you scroll down you'll see some of our favorites but before you do let us officially congratulate the folks at Stewart's for winning three first place blue ribbon awards at this year's World Dairy Expo.

Not only did Stewart's win first place awards for their Death by Chocolate ice cream and their Mango Dragon Fruit Sherbet, but they also won a blue ribbon for their eggnog.

Stewart’s eggnog won first place in the Open Class Flavored Milk category with a nearly perfect score of 99.8 out of 100 according to their website. Stewart's celebrated the win saying "It’s no wonder our Eggnog is such a hit with our customers."

What makes their eggnog so good? "We make it with our award-winning fresh and local milk, and it’s pasteurized, not ultra-pasteurized, which helps keep that fresh, amazing flavor!" The 2023 World Dairy Expo is a one-of-a-kind contest and the only one in North America that evaluates thousands of dairy products from cheese to butter, milk, and of course, ice cream, and gives out awards to winners.
