How exciting!? Another streaming service is looking to use the Hudson Valley as the shooting location for its next project.

Hudson Valley Film Commission Actors and Crew shared a casting call for a "fun new streaming show" that is set to film in the area of Poughkeepsie, New York October 14th through the 18th.

While looking into the casting call we learned that it was for a show called The Four Seasons. A deeper dive tells us it's an 8 episode series that is a remake of a movie from 1981 by the same name that will stream on Netflix.

The original movie starred Alan Ada (who also directed the movie) as well as Carol Burnett and Rita Moreno. Who will be starring in the 2024 remake?

Well, the answer has Hudson Valley residents curious.

Will 2 Big Names in Comedy Be Filming in the Hudson Valley?

Website Tudum, which is run by Netflix, reported back in June 2024 that The Four Seasons would begin filming later on in 2024.

So who will be starring in the new series? The article goes on to state:

It’s a Date Night reunion for Steve Carell and Tina Fey in a new adaptation of the 1981 rom-com The Four Seasons.

Tina Fey and Steve Carell may be some of the biggest names in comedy. I mean who doesn't know Michael Scott from The Office or followed Tina Fey's career on SNL and her amazing run as Liz Lemon on NBC's 30 Rock?

As of now, we don't know what scenes will be filmed in the Poughkeepsie area, for all we know they could be just filming a B-roll in the area and then filming at a soundstage in California.

Stranger things have happened, remember Upload on Amazon Prime? They shot all their exterior shots of Mohawnk Mountain House but filmed the show in Vancouver.
