This is a lot of people's worst nightmare come true.

Driving around the Hudson Valley can, at times be challenging and the thought of sharing the road with someone that might drive off the road because of a spider terrifies me. LOL!

That just happened over in Cario in Greene County, according to WRGB, police in the small town of Cairo said on Facebook that a driver crashed her car on Silver Spur Road on Wednesday.

The cause of the accident, yup you guessed it, a spider. Police said that they believe the driver of the vehicle noticed a spider on the driver's side of her car and when she did, she panicked and crashed, resulting in a leg injury.

Police said online that, "We know that it is easier for some drivers than others but PLEASE, try to teach new drivers and yourselves to overcome the fear and pull over to a safe place. Lives depend on it."

Well said and remember it's only a SPIDER!!
