Sgt. Shawn Farrell II Memorial Scholarship Fund Events
Two great events both take place this weekend.
Local hero, Sgt. Shawn Farrell II was killed in action on April 28 2014, while in Nejrab District, Kapisa province, Afghanistan. Shawn passed away from wounds he sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire.
In memory of Shawn, the creation of the Sgt. Shawn Farrell II Memorial Scholarship Fund was born and this year they are putting together two great events that have something for everyone.
