Saratoga Race Course To Open As Scheduled
Just the other night I was talking to a friend about how we, just like everyone else really can't wait for all of this coronavirus stuff to be under control and we can all start to get back to some sort of normal lives.
Unfortunately I do think that things wont ever quite be the same as they were but I do think that I need to plan something in the next few months to give me something to look forward to...right? Positive thoughts folks!
So we started talking about a few things we could do in a few months and one of the things I was thinking about doing was going to check out some horse racing and BOOM, as soon as I thought it, my computer read my mind and I saw that it looks like Saratoga Raceway is keeping their opening date as of today.
According to CBS 6, Saratoga Raceway is still set to open this years racing season on July 16th but the opening could be with no fans. Saratoga Springs Commissioner of Finance Michele Madigan, told CBS 6 that, most local leaders should start preparing in the event that the season starts with no fans in the stands. Some horse racing tracks across the country are still racing during the outbreak with no fans in attendance.
A lot can change between now and the scheduled opening date for Saratoga and as they do we will do our best to keep you updated.
