Tim and Faith Did it 20 Years After Waylon Jennings

There is no doubt that Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill are one of Country music's power couples. Whether they are performing together on stage or just hanging out with their family Tim and Faith are number one with a lot of country fans. It was actually on this day in 1997 that they were number one on the country charts and managed to do something that hadn't been done since 1977.

On July 12th in 1997 Tim and Faith were on the top of the country charts with their mega hit "It's Your Love" It also became since 1977 to spend six weeks at the top of the Billboard Magazine Hot Country Singles Chart. According to This Day in Country Music 750 songs had topped the chart in the 20 year span but most only spend one week at the top of the chart.
