There's no such thing as too many coffee shops.

Luckily for us here in the Hudson Valley there is a new local coffee shop set to open their doors within the upcoming weeks.

If you're anything like me you have probably been wonder what was being built in the Kohl's shopping plaza on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. Well, the Poughkeepsie Journal is reporting that it will be a new, local, coffee shop called Ready Coffee.

Ready Coffee has their grand opening set for February 15th. On opening day Ready Coffee will be serving one free drink to every customer.

Emily Jordan who is one of the co-founders of Ready Coffee, told the Poughkeepsie Journal: "We want to bring locally roasted coffee to people on-the-go." Their coffee is roasted in East Fishkill where the Ready Coffee headquarters are located.

Ready Coffee will also have other drinks available such as energy drinks, teas and smoothies as well as kid friendly options. There will also be pastries available for purchase.

You can check out Ready Coffee at 1814 South Road in Poughkeepsie from 5 am to 10 pm every day.
