7-Eleven, Speedway, Bolla Market, and Cumberland Farms are some of the biggest chains operating stores across New York. In the Hudson Valley region, there are a bunch of Stewart's Shops, Chestnut Markets, Flory's, and QuickChek to choose from.

Not all parts of the state have the same options, but now it appears that one of the bigger names is looking to expand into parts of Upstate New York, giving customers more options.
