QTSO: TOCMF Throwback the 2000’s Keith vs Josh
On Friday Night, June 7th just over a month from now we will all be standing front and center at Taste of Country Music Festival enjoying the two artists that we are putting into the QTSO tonight. Josh Turner and Keith Urban will both be performing on Friday at this year's Taste of Country Music festival at Hunter Mountain. Tonight we are rolling back the clock and have you deciding which one of these artists and their hit from 2000 something you want to hear for your ride home.
Keith Urban - "Making Memories of Us" released in March of 2005 this had previously been recorded by Tracy Byrd and Vince Gill. Keith managed to take the song all the way to number one.
Josh Turner - "Long Black Train" - the song that was Josh's second single and really the introduction of Josh to country radio only made it to number 13 on the chart. Weird is you think about the fact the song has a devil metaphor. It did however spend a notable 30 weeks on the country chart and was eventually certified gold.
So who will it be for the early 2000's? Which song do you want to hear at TOCMF and at 5 p tonight?
Each week night we put two songs up for your vote. One of these songs will be the one you hear on your car radio, smart speaker or smart phone with the Wolf Mobile App as you head out of work and towards after work fun. If you have a song you want us to put up for the spin-off let us know in the comments below or through the Wolf App’s text studio
