Price Chopper Issues Cheese Recall
If you bought American cheese at Price Chopper, make sure you check to see if you have the recalled brand.
Here is what you need to know, according to News Channel 13, the grocery chain Price Chopper and Market 32 Supermarkets have issued a voluntary manufacturer recall on Great Lakes Cheese, both the white and yellow American cheese varieties.
The reason for the recall is that the company says that some of the recalled cheese may have the presence of "small metal foreign matter."
If you purchased cheese at Price Chopper or at a Market 32 store, the cheese would have been fresh sliced to order, pre-sliced grab 'n go, or "cheese ends". The cheese would have been sold in the deli department with the Market 32 label on it and have the UPC Item Codes:

The supermarket chain also announced recalls of the following prepackaged items that would have been prepared in the deli department:

All of the affected recalled products have been removed from store shelves. If you did purchase any of the recalled products you can return items to your local store for a full refund.
