If you're looking to grab a bite to eat from the Poughkeepsie Golden Corral, you're going to have to find another option. As of today, they have a sign on the door informing customers that they're closed.

So what's the deal?

A source has confirmed to us that Poughkeepsie Golden Corral's franchise agreement has been terminated and they will remain closed until further notice.

Perhaps the multiple delays in opening were a bad omen for things to come. Initially supposed to open in September of 2016, it was pushed back multiple times before getting down to business in January of this year.

However, just a few weeks later in February, they unexpected closed for several days. When reached for comment, General Manager Sher Jackson explained that the corporate team was in the process of handing over duties to the local staff.

According to their website, Golden Corral has 500 locations spread out across 41 states. I suppose this means they're down to 499 at the moment.
