A popular Netflix superhero show spent time filming in the Hudson Valley this week for their upcoming third season. Cast and crew from Marvel's Daredevil were spotted in Windham where they were hard to miss. According to HudsonValley360.com, the popular show took over several municipal locations, restaurants, and even a quarry.

Netflix brought in around 150 crew members to work on the movie and was expected to be here around five days. The filming of Daredevil is having a positive impact on the community as those people are visiting local stores and restaurants during their time here.

Daredevil debuted in April of 2015 and stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil. Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio are also a big part of the show.

Cast and crew were unable to comment on the scenes they were working on due to non-disclosure agreements but according to a recent town board meeting, producers sought to make changes to the local country store and planned for a car crash on Route 12. Special permits were issued to the show so that road signs could be changed and traffic could be re-directed away from these scenes.

The question is, what were they doing in Windham when a majority of the series up until this point has been filmed in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan?
