A popular brewery has announced that they will be opening a new location closer to home.

New breweries popped up all over the Hudson Valley in 2018. In April, Cousins Ale Works cut the ribbon on their huge brewery and tasting room in the Village of Wappingers Falls. Over the summer King's Court Brewery started pouring their beers in the City of Poughkeepsie. Other breweries, like Sloop Brewing in Fishkill, also opened up new locations, expanding their reach throughout the Hudson Valley.

the good news is that it already looks like 2019 is shaping up to be another great year for Hudson Valley beer fans. A popular brewery in Rockland County has just announced that they will be opening up a second brewery, taproom and event space in Dutchess County.

The Full Pint is reporting that Industrial Arts Brewing is coming to Fishkill Avenue in Beacon. Industrial Arts' original location in Garnerville opened in August 2016. Since then the brewery has grown a rabid fan base. Their Wrench IPA has earned rave reviews from beer experts and has become one of the most sought after IPAs in the country. As a result, the brewery has had trouble keeping cans of it in stock for their distributors in New  York, New Jersey, Connecticut and even Japan.

The new multi-level brewery and taproom will take up most of a new 150,000 square foot facility overlooking Mount Beacon. The first phase of the project will include a tasting room with lots of outdoor seating and panoramic mountain views.  The brewery also plans to offer beer to go and a partnership with local food trucks. Doors are expected to be open to the public this Spring.

After the initial opening, work on the rest of the facility will begin. The brewing production facility will include a large events center, some smaller private party spaces, a distribution center, and a state-of-the-art production brewery that will be able to pump out more than 50,000 barrels a year.
