Popular Diner Teams Up With New Kingston, NY Brewery

Nothing goes better with a cold, crisp beer like a good burger, right?

A brewery in Kingston has partnered up with one of the more popular diners in the Hudson Valley to bring delicious food to their tap room for the perfect pairing.

New Phoenicia Diner Canteen?

The Phoenicia Diner is one of the more popular diners in our region. If you take a look at TikTok, you'll see a ton of influencers flocking to the diner on the weekend for mouthwatering content.

With that being said, over the last few weeks Phoenicia Diner has been teasing a new spinoff to their classic diner.

On Facebook back on May 20th, 2025, Phoenicia Diner posted a picture of train tracks with the following caption:

Our team has been quietly working on something new.

Just off the trail.
Right by the tracks.
A new kind of stop.

#pdcanteen #PhoeniciaDiner #iloveny

The diner is located rather close to the tracks used for Rail Explorers USA, which made us believe their opening up a smaller location near the tracks. That has yet to be confirmed and more information hasn't yet been made available.

However we're starting to get some clues including a new PD Canteen partnership with a local brewery.

Blue Duck + Phoenicia Diner = Deliciousness

Blue Duck Brewery in Kingston has announced a partnership that they've been "cooking up."

The Brewery has a new official restaurant partner: Phoenicia Diner.

On Facebook they write:

This partnership has been in the works for a while, and we’re so thrilled to finally make it official. Working with the team at Phoenicia Diner has been an absolute dream, and we can’t wait for them to bring their amazing food and vibe to Blue Duck

It looks like they'll be serving up Juicy Burgers, the signature Phoenicia Diner Reuben and brunch.

Blue Duck explains further adding "That’s right — their sister concept, PD Canteen, will be serving up some of their diner classics you know and love right here at the brewery."

Phoenicia Diner on The Small Screen

If you're a fan of the Phoenicia Diner then you may have seen it on the small screen in one of the more popular TV shows of 2025.

Apple TV+ Severance has a huge presence here in the Hudson Valley. They filmed all over from Beacon, to Cold Spring and Kingston. One of the fictional sets was for a place called Pips Diner.

We'll give you one guess as to where Pips Diner was filmed. . . Phoenicia Diner!

It became so popular that at one point the diner made waffles for a Severance finale viewing party.
