So if you watch the CMT Music Awards you caught Jake Owen debuting his new country hit "Real Life". His CMT performance had mixed reviews, but I enjoyed it. He has just released the official video and it is campy and fun. A tribute to those of us living in the real world, Jake pokes fun at the glam videos and reality shows on TV.

Jake's new "do" and his new hit are showing us a new side to the Jake Owen we know and love. The 2009 ACM Top New Male Artist and 2012 American Country Awards Break Through Artist of the Year is working on a new studio album and on the heels of his recent number one "What We Ain't Got" I think he is on to something.
