Former Big Lots Store to Open Under a New Name
As the saying goes, "out with the old and in with the new" as a former Big Lots store in Upstate New York will soon reopen under a new name.
The discount retailer Big Lots announced in August that it was planning to close approximately 300 stores across the country as the company was preparing to file bankruptcy. In September they formally filed bankruptcy papers and soon after the number of stores scheduled to close jumped up to almost five hundred including many New York locations.
Once the stores closed many wondered if any other store name might move into the now vacant stores.
