Upstate New York Brewery Closing

Sadly, one of New York's most iconic breweries has announced with a "heavy heart" that after 35 years they have closed their doors for good. The Great Adirondack Brewing Company (formerly Great Adirondack Steak and Seafood) made the announcement on Facebook saying,

"It’s with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that the Great Adirondack Steak & Seafood and Brewing Company will be closing its doors. For the past 35 years, we’ve been lucky enough to welcome so many of you through our doors, and in that time, you’ve truly become family to us."

The message which was posted on Friday, November 8th on behalf of the Kane family went on to thank everyone "for all the memories and good times we’ve shared together." Just about everyone who has ever visited the brewery and restaurant always had something good to say and always got excited for their next visit. Rob, Nancy, Robbie, Eddie, and Hannah said "You have been the heart of this place, bringing life and laughter through our doors day after day. Your loyalty and love have been the greatest gifts we could ask for."

The owners also wanted to thank their employees saying,

"We know that this journey would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our cherished employees, who brought their passion and commitment to work every day, making this place what it is. Your hard work, friendship, and dedication have meant the world to us, and we are endlessly grateful for each and every one of you."

It's unclear what the future holds for the building that was home to the brewery for so many years, but as soon as any future plans are announced we will update this article.
