Never Put These 5 Things in a Dishwasher
I learned the hard way.
It always amazes me how sometimes I get caught up in doing the dumbest things. When I first moved into my apartment a couple of years ago, one of the things the house had to have was a dishwasher. When I first got divorced I moved into a small apartment that didn't have one and I hated it! I promised myself that when I moved the one thing the new place had to have was a dishwasher.
When I found the place I live in now one of the first things I did when I moved in was use the dishwasher after a long weekend with the kids. After using it only a few times I realized that I really don't need it. I only use a few dishes a week so I stopped using it and started to hand wash everything. It's been so long since I used it that it has become another place I store things.
It's the perfect place for me to store the box of Swifter floor cleaning pads and the perfect spot for bags of dog food. Now it was the perfect place, until this weekend when some how the dishwasher got turned on and a whole bag of dog food got DESTROYED! It got washed nice and clean, and even got melted dry to boot...LOL! After that experience I thought maybe we should share some of things you should never put in the dishwasher according to the Food Network.
