Netflix Movie Filming in the Hudson Valley Casting Roles Now

A new Netflix movie scheduled to film in Orange County, NY has begun casting to fill numerous roles.

Movie Filming in Orange County, New York

The movie "A Song in the Dark" is scheduled to begin filming in Middletown, NY, and surrounding Hudson Valley locations on Monday, September 16th through October 18th. The film's casting crew is looking to fill numerous roles. The movie, a drama appears to be inspired by true events including human trafficking, Mexican cartels, and a family trying to get their daughter back while navigating a complex and unforgiving legal system according to Backstage.

Hudson Valley Casting Call for Netflix Movie

The casting crew is looking to fill multiple roles including the female lead named Shannon Harper and is looking for an innocent-looking female between 18 to 25, slim/average weight, between 5'1” and 5'9” with a New York accent. They are also casting the roles of lead male actor John Harper and seek male actors between 40 to 55 years old with a fit or average build between 5'9" and 6'3" tall with a New York accent.

The other female lead role of Elsa Harper is also being cast as they are looking for a female actor between 40 to 50 years old with a slim or average build, height ranging from 5'3" to 5'9", and a New York accent. All three lead roles pay $3,500 per week, with "Shannon" and "John" excepted to work for an estimated five weeks and "Elsa" for four weeks.
