The prize will be handed over near Hunter Mountain Friday.

If you have ever been up to Hunter Mountain to go skiing or maybe you have been at one of the big music festivals that are at Hunter every year, you might want to make sure the next time you go, you stop off at a popular convenience store to see if you can steal some luck.

According to the New York Lottery an man from the city of Troy, near Albany, bought a winning $1 million scratch off ticket recently while on a day trip to Hunter Mountain in the Catskills and today is a big day for him.

The New York Lottery and there most popular number caller, Yolanda Vega will present a $1,000,000 ceremonial prize check to the unnamed man who won the one million dollar jackpot on a Gold Bar 7s scratch off ticket.

The winning ticket was sold at the Cumberland Farms at 7582 Main Street in the Town of Hunter and the prize presentation will take place at the same Cumberland Farms on Friday starting around 1 p.m. where the lucky winner purchased his ticket.
