Autographs from celebrities are pretty cool. But Paw-tographs from are some of our local heroes are even cooler.

If you follow our news stories, you'll see that not only do we acknowledge the hard work of our first responders, police officers, firefighters and EMS/EMT's but we also acknowledge their four legged partners.

The K9's here in the Hudson Valley are top notch. They assist in many arrest throughout the year and have their handlers back at all times.

So of course their safety is important too.

Vested Interest is a charity organization in Massachusetts, that relies on donations to get bullet and stab proof vest made for K9's across the US.

On Sunday October 7th, the Hudson Valley Hot Rods will host their 2nd annual car show at Crane Park on Lake Street in Monroe. The event is from 10am until 3pm and rain or shine.

Cars can enter the car show for $17 fee and will receive a free Autographed K-9 Calendar.

The free event will feature a chance to meet K-9 Simba and Officer James Gayler, who will be appearing in the 2019 Vested Interest in K9s calendar. There will be free K-9 demonstrations and music by DJ Hot Rod.
