Looking Back at 2018 with the Wolf – Outdoor Concerts
As 2018 come to a close we look back at some the great country artists who performed great outdoor music venues in the Hudson Valley. Some artists even played more than one.
Bethel Woods - Weather didn't always cooperate but that didn't matter at Bethel Woods in the summer of 2018. The Country Mega Ticket line up did not disappoint. Jason Aldean, Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs then Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker with Russel Dickerson, Finally Dierks Bentley with Brothers Osborne and Lanco. All took the main stage for another great season of live country music. As an added bonus Keifer Sutherland with special guest Rick Brantley even brought his form of rockin' country to the historic Woodstock home. Don't miss Bethel's Commemorative Season in 2019 celebrating the 50th year of the original festival.
Taste of Country Music Festival 2018 was the festival's 6th year at Hunter Mountain and once again the Northeast's largest camping and country music festival played to a record crowd no doubt due to the amazing artist line-up. Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church and Sam Hunt headlined Jimmie Allen, Devin Dawson, Kane Brown, Dustin Lynch, Sasha McVeigh, Jordan Davis, Ashley McBryde, Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore, James Barker Band, Danielle Bradbery, Montgomery Gentry and LeAnn Rimes all took to stage with unforgettable performances. The 2019 line-up looks to be just as good with Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, Brooks and Dunn and Brett Eldredge all announced to be part of year number 7.
The County Fair stages added to a great outdoor season as well. The Ulster County Fair in New Paltz welcomed The Charlie Daniels Band and Keith Anderson. While the Dutchess County Fair brought to the stage Kane Brown, Chris Lane, Kip Moore and local favorites the Little Creek Band.
