Long Island Hiker Stumbles Upon Creepy Scene

Here's your daily dose of creepy New York news. I saw this story going around on Facebook the other day and had trouble sleeping.

It's safe to say that everything is a little creepier during the month of October, you  know with Halloween and creepy clowns lurking. This story just seemed a little too real for me. According to a New York Post Facebook update, a guy out in Long Island named James Tiberius Rankin was hiking and came across a very unsettling scene. Think about it. Taking a nice relaxing hike in the middle of the woods and coming across a ton of missing people signs. Again... this was found in the middle of the woods.

The video below depicts when the guy came across the haunting scene. I'll warn you now this video is NSFW (not safe for work). You can't really blame the guy though, it's freaky.

Did the hair on your arms stand up? Okay, good. I'm not alone. Apparently the Suffolk County Police are on the case, but many Facebook users are saying it could be Halloween decorations. Not a crazy idea considering all the weird clown stuff going on.

What would you do if you came across this creepy scene? I know for a fact that I wouldn't be hanging around long enough to make a Youtube video.
