Back in September, I shared with you that the folks behind the Hudson Valley Night Markets, Moon Serpent, and Bone Oddities & Curiosities were getting ready to retire their night markets. Well, the time has come, and the last market is on the calendar for December.

The 7th Annual Yule Oddities and Curiosities Night Market will be the last one of its kind. Krampus will make an appearance at this last chance to attend what has become a popular shopping event for folks who are looking for items that you can't find at your average retail store.

On Friday, December 12th, you will have your last chance to browse the unusual all in one place. The market will run from 6 PM to 11 PM that night at Locust Grove Estate on South Road in Poughkeepsie. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy this dark shopping night with Krampus. If you get your ticket in advance, it is just $5; at the door, it will be $7.

I have enjoyed attending many of these markets. The first one I ever went to was at Locust Grove. It is a great place for this event. You would be surprised at what you can uncover for just about everyone on your holiday list. I have dragged many a friend to these night market events who were skeptical that they would have fun, and they ended up having a blast.

Sadly, this is the last market, but the good news is you can still shop for your oddities and curiosities at the shop that is now open in Beacon. The Moon, Serpent and Bone Oddities & Curiosities Shop and Cafe is at 211 Fishkill Ave in Beacon.
