Rachael Leigh Cook Movie Filmed in Beacon, NY Premieres This Week

Movie Set Takes Over Beacon Neighborhoods in 2024

In May of 2024 the Beacon, New York community began seeing yellow signs popping up all over town.

The signs, we learned, were part of local production and movie studio Choice Films as they began work on a film starring Rachael Leigh Cook.

Filming took place up and down Main Street in Beacon as at the Mount Gulian historic site.

The movie is called " There She Goes" and according to FoxTV it follows "a former 90s teen rom-com star who fades from the limelight and moves back home, only to get entangled in an unpredictable new love story."

Cook stars along side Utkarsh Ambudkar and Ryan Hansen. And now we have a premier date!

Beacon Filmed Movie Premiers on Fox in May 2026

It looks like "There She Goes" will premier on Thursday May 28th, 2026 on Fox.

What's The Latest Filming in the Hudson Valley?

We haven't heard about any projects filming currently as of May 2026. However, we hear things are about to pick up in June 2026.

A few weeks ago a casting call went out for a project called "The Woods" which we learned would be shooting in Newburgh (and surrounding towns), Tuxedo Park, Harriman State Park and Forestburgh.

Turns out "The Woods" is the Netflix adaptation of the book "The Good Of The Woods" by Liz Moore. The series is set to star Stranger Things star Maya Hawke and Kerry Condon.

The book follows the story of a 13-year-old girl who goes missing from a camp in the Adirondacks.

There are also whispers that Best Medicine on Fox will beginning filming again in the Hudson Valley soon, so keep an eye out!

Season 2 of Netflix's The Four Season will air May 28th, 2026 which also filmed in  parts of the region. The Prime Christmas movie Clashing Through the Snow is also set to premier in 2026, but of course that will be closer to the holiday season.
