Kevin McCurdy's Haunted Mansion Celebrates it's 49th Spooky Season

2025 marks an important year for one of the spookier spots in the Hudson Valley.

Kevin McCurdy's Haunted Mansion is one of the top spots for those looking for a scare every Halloween season. In it's 49th season Kevin McCurdy's is welcoming guests to brave the mansions theme: The Keeper.

Guest will walk through attractions like The London Maze, Sweet Tooth and Sons Candy Factory, Doll Haven Hollow and a BBQ hosted by "wicked sister."

At the beginning of this season, Kevin McCurdy's welcomed some special guests to the mansion and it looks like we'll all be able to see it soon.

Lights, Camera, Action: Kevin McCurdy's on The Big Screen?

Shortly after the scaring season began at the mansion, the Kevin McCurdy's teamed shared some exciting news.

On social media they shared "EXCITING NEWS! Kevin McCurdy’s Haunted Mansion will be featured in an all new movie!" At the time it was posted, on October 8th, they added that they couldn't share too many details writing:

Filming has just finished and while we can’t share details just yet, we have been honored to be a part of this project and can’t wait to see what’s in store next!

Now, it looks like we finally have some more details.

What Movie Was Filming at Kevin McCurdy's Haunted Mansion?

Deadline is reporting that the project which filmed at the Wappingers Falls haunted attraction is called Caity.

The indie drama will follow Chiara Aurelia as 16-year-old Caity who is working with her "newly sober father" Paul as they prepare for the Halloween season at their family-owned haunted house.

Which makes Kevin McCurdy's the perfect filming location, right!?

Paul is played by Morgan Spector who you may know as George Russell from Gilded Age which also filmed in parts of the Hudson Valley.

Deadline adds that the movie will follow the father-daughter duo as Caity "recognizes the signs of a relapse from Paul, she tries to cover them up but struggles to manage as she tests her own relationship to substances and falls for a new employee, Hannah."

The project was written and directed by Lindsay Calleran.
