Oh, it's ladies night, oh what a night. I hope you were singing that just like I was when I was typing it.

We're back for another installment of One Sip Cider with Paige from Boutique Wines, Spirits and Ciders in Fishkill. This month, in honor of International Women's Day, which took place on March 8, we are focusing on the ladies of the cider industry.

Paige picked out three delicious ciders made by women, some here in the Hudson Valley and Catskills as well as ladies across the nation.

First, we sampled from the power duo of Eleanor Leger from Vermont and Ellen from Tilted Shed in California. Their cider, called Two Ellies, gives you a hint of a champagne or wine flavor with a burst of cider.

Next, we came back closer to home with Maeve's Hudson Valley Farmhouse Cider created by the extremely talented and knowledgeable Elizabeth Ryan. Lastly, we went a little further north to sip on Awestruck Cider from the Catskill region. We tried the "very elusive and hard to find" Empire Cider from Awestruck creator Patti Wilcox.
