Your artists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should — which, in this case, is actually good for humanity because a massive open-shirted Jeff Goldblum statue has magically appeared in front of the Tower Bridge in London. The masterpiece was allegedly commissioned by NowTV to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Jurassic Park, but I think you and I both know that literally no one needs a reason to erect a giant statue of the world’s most beautiful man.

As NME (and several people on Twitter) reports, the statue of Goldblum’s iconic Dr. Ian Malcolm is currently situated in Potters Fields in front of London’s Tower Bridge. It does not appear to be for sale, but that will not stop me from trying to acquire what is surely the finest monument ever erected on Earth’s soil. Weighing in at 150 kg (or about 330 pounds), the 25-foot statue depicts Dr. Ian Malcolm with his shirt open and his chest exposed to the elements — an ode to one of the best scenes in one of the best films ever made.

Goldblum recently reprised the role of the beloved scientist and chaos theory expert in this summer’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom — which, unfortunately, did not appear to have the same reverence for Jeff Goldblum as the makers of this fine statue. (He only appeared in one scene. It was a travesty.)

It’s unclear how long the statue will remain in Potters Fields. I hope the Queen is a Jurassic Park fan.
