Celebrity's are constantly getting hit up to support any number of worthy causes. I thinks it's really interesting to hear how and why they choose certain ones.

Jason Aldean chooses to do his annual Concert for the Cure for a reason that's really close to his heart.

It started because of tragedy. He tells People, "My best friend lost his wife to breast cancer and she was in her very early thirties. I was there. I watched it all go down.

"I watched him deal with that and her go through it and her leaving behind two daughters. That to me was sort of an eye-opener."

It made him think about the people in his life. He told People, "I have a wife, two daughters. I have a mother, a stepmom, a sister. I have women in my life that are very important and to me, and it's something I would never want to see them go through."

Jason's proud that he's helped raise $2.3 million for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Quote, "I feel like we've accomplished something pretty special."

This year's show is October 24th in West Palm Beach, Florida.
