Kenny Chesney launched his massive 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour on Saturday (April 20). The country veteran enlisted the help of Zac Brown Band and Megan Moroney to open for him, alongside duet partner Uncle Kracker -— with whom he collaborated on the song "When the Sun Goes Down."

The setlist is a jukebox of Chesney's biggest hits with a few surprises in between. Mixed in with singalongs including "Beer in Mexico", "Summertime" and "American Kids" are a handful of covers including Mentor Williams' "Drift Away" and "Come Monday," which is a special tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett.

To top it off, the country hitmaker returns to the stage for an encore presentation of "Don't Happen Twice."

Kenny Chesney's 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour

Chesney's 18-date stadium tour will put the "Take Her Home" singer in some of the biggest venues he's ever played. The trek will run through Aug. 17 before wrapping with three shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., from Aug. 23-25.

“I wanted a name that suggested — obviously — when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going,” Chesney says of the tour. “But we all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves."
