Summer is the best time of the year and I will defend it to anyone who disagrees. The weather is beautiful, the days are long and there's a ton of fun things going on. Movies Under The Walkway is a great way to spend a summer evening and you can enjoy a great movie. The schedule for Summer 2023 has finally come out and it looks there will be some cool movie choices.

What exactly is  Movies Under The Walkway?

For those who haven't been before, Movies Under The Walkway takes place at Upper Landing Park on 83 N Water Street right in Poughkeepsie. There's some great perks that go along with it like there's free parking at the Mid-Hudson Discovery Museum and at Metro North if you attend. The park does open at 7:30pm and the movies will begin at sundown, it really feels like a movie just outside. The movies will not go on if there's bad weather and people who want to go do need to bring their own chairs and blankets. Sounds like this would make an amazing date night

The schedule is above and it looks some cool movies will be playing. Have you gone to Movies Under The Walkway before? Let us know how it is on the station app. If you do go and check out a movie there this summer, have a ton of fun!

Take This Fascinating History Crawl Through Hyde Park, NY

Hyde Park, NY is located in Dutchess County, NY. It is the home to several prominent figures that played a role in how the world was once formed. Even though these members of society have passed on, their stories and legacies continue in our area.

I have had the chance to visit these historical sites and will always remember what each one meant to me, what I learned on the tours and how guests can continue to visit in 2023.
