It’s Never Too Early to Plan for St. Patrick’s Day
March is quickly approaching and it's time to start preparing for, in my opinion, the most joyful holiday throughout the year...St. Patrick's Day! Nothing makes me happier than seeing a bunch of folks in kilts, happy as every, enjoying Guinness and corned-beef. And this is coming from an Italian girl. There are parades galore and St. Patrick's Day events going on all throughout the Hudson Valley, but clear your schedule for Paddy on The River.
This year Paddy on The River will be held in Waryas Park in the city of Poughkeepsie on Saturday March 12th and let me tell you, it's going to be jam packed with fun. Of course there will be your favorite Irish foods on hand, corned beef, cabbage, all brought to you buy some of your favorite eateries in the HV like Mahoney's Irish Pub, Clocktower Grill and Elia's Sausage Company.
What does every St. Patrick's Day party need? Music and beer! You'll be treated to live music from Narrowbacks, Mighty Ploughboys and Ireland The Band. And no need to be worried about beer, we'll most definitely have that on tap for you.
Tickets are going quickly. Purchase your tickets now, $15 for General Admission (it's suggested that if you have any guest under the age of 21 you purchase this ticket)including admission to the event and access to vendors and entertainment. $30 gets you the VIP ticket and that includes 3 beer tickets, seperate heated tent and seating area, and food voucher.
