Meet Ingrid Andress. By now you have heard her song More Hearts Than Mine. But I thought it was time to find out more about this girl with the soulful sad voice. I haven't heard of Ingrid until her song More Hearts Than Mine hit radio this month. So where did she come from? Originally she hails from Denver, CO. She is from a large familly and was home schooled. All of this according to her bio on her official website. Also there is a quote from Rolling Stone applauding her for bein "honest and heartbreaking". Listen for yourself in her video for More Hearts.

Her bio also explains that she has written with Sam Hunt and Alicia Keyes. She was named to Sounds Like Nashville's "19 New Country Artists to Watch in 2019. She has her own sound which has been called raw and honest. No surprise that CMT has singled her out as well as one of the "Next Women of Country."

Just my humble opinion but I think Ingrid will be one of those country singers we will be talking about in a few years the way we talk about Marren Morris and Carrie Underwood. If you want to catch her performing live you are in luck. According to her website she has a show scheduled October 30th at the Rockwood Music Hall in New York City and in Scranton, PA on November 5th.

If can make one of her shows in 2019 then make sure you add her to the list for 2020.
